No More Qualifying

"Michael Vick should get a second chance in the NFL but what he did was heinous."

"Plaxico Burress' sentence for illegal gun possession is too harsh, but what he did was stupid."

"I'm against ObamaCare but I think we should do something about the chronically uninsured."

That's it. I'm done. I'm through with qualifying my remarks. From now on I'm going state my opinions and shut up. If you misconstrued what I say then you either don't know me or you're an idiot.

After all, anyone who knows me knows I love dogs. Any one who is anti-gun should know there are people with pro-gun opines. As for ObamaCare I was lying. Not about being against it but about doing something for the chronically uninsured--let them drink NyQuil.

In the past, I've qualified my remarks out of fear. I was afraid of hurting someone's feeling. I was afraid of appearing insensitive. I was afraid of confrontation.

However, now that I'm old, and I've gained the wisdom necessary to function, I've come to realize that I really don't care. If someone needs me to clarify my opinion they can ask. If they jump to conclusions that's there problem not mine.

Here it goes...

"Michael Vick should get a second chance in the NFL."

"Plaxico Burress's sentence for illegal gun possession is too harsh"

"I'm against ObamaCare."
