My grandparents lived through the Great Depression. It made them tough and it made them the successful people they are today.
Today, the world economy is in a recession (not a depression) and people are crumbling in despair.
I recently saw an example of this mass whimpering in the form of a list of songs complied to help others get through the “economic crisis.”
Are you kidding me?
You think Americans in the 20’s and 30’s rushed to their phonographs and whined about how bad it was? You think they had phonographs? You think they even liked music? No.
So suck it up. Get out of the fetal position. Wipe the tears from your eyes and go to work.
Yes, this “economic crisis” is unfortunate. Yes, this “recession” is obnoxious. However, it’s not the end of the world. The economy will bounce back. And it will bounce back a lot quicker if you get your thumb out of your mouth and do something productive.
